I recently recorded an a acoustic version of the Tears for Fears classic MAD WORLD, made famous by Gary Jules and the film Donnie Darko. I put my own spin on it in an attempt to do something a little different. Thankfully, the Houston Press thought that it didn’t suck. It made their top 10 best covers. Thank you. Mad World, written by Tears for Fears and made famous by Gary Jules and Donnie Darko, is one of my favorite songs. The Gary Jules version is awesome.
