JAMES CAMERON – MARIANA TRENCH

James Cameron is the first person to solo dive to the deepest part of the ocean – the Mariana Trench. Ironically, this is exactly what my new film ROGUE STRIKE is about. Production is currently 75% completed.
I wrote the script back in August of 2011, and suddenly it has gotten very topical. I had no idea Cameron was planning his mission to the Challenger Deep. I will likely have to rewrite a few lines to keep up with current events.

Congrats to James Cameron on this historic dive. The last time someone reached that depth was in the 1960s…

DEEP TERROR – UPDATE

Here’s a still from last night’s shoot with Dwayne Smith. The scene is spoken entirely in Russian – Dwayne spent months meticulously preparing for the role. Special thanks to Julitta Pourciau who translated the dialogue and coached on dialect. And thanks to John Lansch and Drew Donovan behind the scenes.

DEEP TERROR

I’ve been in production on a new action/thriller called DEEP TERROR. It’s Die Hard on a mini-submersible – marine biologists caught up in a terrorist plot to recover the worlds most destructive weapon of mass destruction.

We’ve been filming for the last 2 weeks, and still going – shooting some green screen shots tonight. So far it’s been an amazing run… filmmaking continues to be one of the most challenging, yet rewarding professional experiences for me.

It’s quite a departure from my last film Spirit Camp – though despite the more serious tone, I do manage to keep some irreverently comic moments.

I’ll be updating with some behind the scenes footage soon!

FILM PRODUCTION UPDATE

Just  a quick update – I’m in production shooting another feature film. If you need to contact me, I’ll get back with you as soon as possible – bear in mind my schedule is extremely tight at the moment. I should wrap up this film mid week.

Best,
Kerry
