HOW DO YOU GET FAMOUS?

How do you get famous? It’s a question I get asked all the time. No one wants to live an average life… we all want to live an exceptional one. We want to experience everything life has to offer… live in the finest homes, drive the finest cars, travel to exotic locations, and have adoring fans the world over. The life of a celebrity seems most alluring. So, how do you get famous?

Keep in mind there is a difference between infamous and famous. Notoriety derived from insidious deeds is hardly something one should aspire to. Before embarking on a path to fame, it may be advisable to ask yourself why you want to become famous in the first place?

Being in the public eye has it’s own set of drawbacks. Fame, money and power doesn’t always equate to happiness. Famous people still face many of the same problems as those who are not famous. But truth be told, fame and fortune doesn’t exactly suck.

So, how do you get famous? The simple answer, if you want to be notable, is to do something noteworthy. I know, it sounds very trite and cliche, but it’s true. Though we live in a time where the world population exceeds 7 billion, and to accomplish something truly noteworthy among that vast pool of applicants seems impossible, it is still within our reach to accomplish individual greatness.

We are each unique, with a personalized skill set and an individual perspective of the world around us. Everyone has something… that one thing that they do better than anyone else. Finding, and maximizing, this attribute is the key to success.

It is only through self discovery, and an honest self evaluation, that one can hone his/her skills to a level that achieves greatness. Repetition of an action, over and over, allows one to make subtle distinctions that will improve that individuals skill to a level of mastery.

Think of the great musicians, sports stars, actors… born with an aptitude for their endeavors, yes… but this natural aptitude was honed to a level of excellence by countless hours of study, practice and real world experience.

You must not fear failure, you must not accept defeat. Instead, look at these as opportunities to learn, grow and improve.

Becoming famous is not your goal. That is a side effect. Your goal is to be the best at what you do… You must be so good, that others would be foolish not to utilize your talent. Dedication is the key. When you want to succeed as much as you want to breath, you are on the right path.

Focus your efforts on becoming famous, and you will likely wallow in obscurity. Devote yourself to a life of self improvement, you are likely to lavished with the world’s treasures.

GO PRO HERO 3

The new Go Pro Hero 3 camera is out, and the footage looks awesome. It’s Wi-Fi enabled and is smaller, lighter, and more powerful than ever! It will shoot 1080p at up to 60 fps and 720 at a whopping 120 fps (can you say super-awesome slo mo?). I think I’m finally on board to buy one.
