PRINTS & REPRODUCTIONS

Once your session is complete, and your agent has picked your headshot, you will need a print and reproductions. You can order a single print and have your reproductions done elsewhere, or you can have the finest quality reproductions made through me, at a competitive price.

These are the finest prints available. They are not copies of your original print, like most labs and reproduction houses make... instead each reproduction is an original CUSTOM PRINT! They look better, sharper, have less grain, and will last longer! The reproduction prints are absolutely beautiful! They will not yellow over time, they will not fade, they will be EXACTLY LIKE YOUR ORIGINAL PRINT!!! There will be no difference in tone or texture between prints, because each print is an original from the digital file.

This is the preferred method for reproducing your headshots, allowing me to oversee the process, making sure your final headshot reproductions are the best they can be. Your agent may have a special printer, or refer a cheaper printer, but in my experience, the quality is just not the same. You get what you pay for.

PLEASE NOTE:

ALL PRINT ORDERS MUST BE PREPAID!!! NO EXCEPTIONS! Your print order will not begin until payment is arranged.

It is highly recommended that you view a proof before we begin printing the full order, although you may waive the proof -- in which case you are still responsible for payment.

PRINT FORMAT

This is how all landscape headshots will be printed, unless you request otherwise. But why on earth would you request to print a landscape headshot any other way, cause this is the cool, hip way to do it? (Obviously, if your session was in color, your shots will be printed in color, unless you specify otherwise).

This is how all portrait shots will be printed, unless otherwise requested:

Even if you live in a regional market, keep current with LA in the style of your headshots. When the big films come in to town to cast for local actors, where do you think the big films are coming from? ...LA.

There is a 2 week turnaround on all print and reproduction orders. Anything less than 2 weeks will require a rush charge, and will be billed at double the posted rate, plus expedited shipping.

SINGLE 8x10 PRINT = $25 (The digital file will be setup with border, and your name typset. Once setup, this file can be used for your reproductions with no additional setup fee.) -- retouching is available for an additional fee (see below for details).

REPRODUCTION PACKAGES:

Minimum reproduction package is 25 copies of the same image. There is a one time setup fee of $25 per image that will apply to all reproduction packages. Setup includes border, and typsetting of name.

25 8x10's = $48.75 + $25 setup, TOTAL $73.75 (re-order $48.75)

50 8x10's = $87.50 + $25 setup, TOTAL $112.50 (re-order $87.50)

100 8x10s = $135 + $25 setup, TOTAL $160 (re-order $135)

Everything you've worked for up until this point has been to create the best marketing tool possible for your career. These reproductions are what will represent you! I encourage you to reproduce through my studio to ensure quality.

RETOUCHING

Your headshot should be an accurate representation of who you are, and how you look now. It should represent you at your best. Sometimes a modest amount of retouching is necessary to achieve this. Different levels of retouching are available at different prices depending upon your specific needs. Keep in mind that retouching is an art and not a science, and some things are just not possible. Retouching should be used to enhance, not alter your appearance.

NOTE: All prices are in addition to print prices. (ex: 1 8x10 print w/Light Retouch =$50)

LIGHT RETOUCH = $25

Under-eye shadows softened. Blemishes removed. Move mouse over image to see change...

MODERATE RETOUCH =$50

Fine lines and under-eye shadows softened, blemishes removed, and reduction of stray hairs.

ADVANCED RETOUCH =$75

Fine lines and under-eye shadows virtually eliminated, skin resurfacing and blemishes removed, reduction of stray hairs.

EYE ENHANCEMENT = $25

This can be added to either the Light, Medium or Advanced retouch packages. The above Advanced example also had this done. Blood vessels removed and eye whitened, iris highlighted and defined.

EMAIL & DIGITAL TRANSFER OF FILES

If you request me to email a file, the charge is $25 per image. Don't ask me to email a file to a competing lab for free.

Also, I AM NO LONGER PRINTING AGENCY LOGOS on single, or multiple prints.

Here is WHY YOU SHOULD NOT PUT AN AGENCY LOGO ON YOUR PRINT ANYWAY:

1. If you change agents, you are stuck with 100 photos with the wrong agency logo.

2. If you have multiple agents in different cities, you will have to get multiple reproductions for each agency.

3. Aesthetically, most logo's ruin the appearance of your photo.

4. Your agency contact information should be on your resume. Having it on your photo is redundant. (Don't worry about your resume separating from your headshot, it rarely happens. If it does, and they want to cast you for something, they WILL find out who you are). You should list yourself in the Academy Players Directory.

5. If you don't put on a logo, your agency is not going to get mad at you and stop sending you out. Remember, they work for you. They will gladly take their 10 - 15 percent whether or not your photo has their logo on it.
