BASE RATES
3 Person crew: DVCProHD camera, lights & sound = $400/hr (5 hour minimum).
-
*NOTE: More complex shoots requiring intricate blocking and camera moves will require additional crew. Depending on the scope of your project, additional equipment may also be required beyond our base package. Additional crew and equipment will be at an additional cost to the base rate. During our initial consultation we will discuss the needs of your project and any necessary additions.
1 Hour drive time will be billed for all location shoots within the Houston city limits. Shoots outside the city limits will be billed based on the drive time to and from our Studio in Downtown Houston.
Billing: All bookings require a valid credit card number & expiration date, which will be charged at the time services are rendered. You will receive and itemized invoice of that billing after each shoot day.
Cancelations: Bookings must be canceled with greater than 5 days notice, otherwise you will be billed the minimum 5 hr rate.
Storing Your Footage: DVCProHD is a tapless workflow, where footage is shot and stored digitally. You will need an external harddrive to function as your storage drive and scratch disk for Final Cut Pro. The size of your project and amount of footage to be shot will determine the size of the drive needed.
*NOTE: It is highly recommended that data be stored in a failsafe environment by using 2 separate drives to mirror the data in the event that one harddrive should fail. You are spending a lot of money to get the best production possible, spend a little more and get a backup drive.
Storage Drive Specs: Firewire 400/800 (preferred) - 7200 rpm.
*We are not responsible for any data loss if you fail to provide us with a backup drive.
Pre-Production: Consulting and other pre-production aspects will be billed at $150/hr.
